Faculty

Professor Zhang Xiuping is Vice Dean of the Management School of Minzu University and Director of the MBA Education Center. Professor Zhang received her Ph.D. in management from Renmin University of China, did her post-doctorate research in applied economics at Beijing University. She is also a senior visiting scholar of the Tilburg University in Netherlands and University of Minnesota. Now she serves as a professor at Business Administration Department, also supervises graduate students’ theses. Professor Zhang’s research directions are Organization and strategy, and Logistics and supply chain management. As an expert in the above two fields, she also serves as a Senior Consultant in many companies.

   
   
Professor Li Shufeng is Deputy Director of the MBA Education Center, Management School, Minzu University. He is also Director of the Accounting Department. Professor Li received his Ph.D. in management (accounting) from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, did his post-doctorate research at Business School of Renmin University of China, Baisha Group, and Business Administration School of North China Electric Power University. He also serves as a consultant of the Beijing Junior Chamber of Commerce, a Senior Advisor in many equity firms. He is also President of the Zhangjiajie Yuanfa Hydropower Development Co., Ltd, and an Independent Director of many listed companies. He mainly focuses on major asset restructuring, mergers and acquisitions of listed companies, consulting of business Private Equity investment and IPO, strategic budget management, company internal control system building, and other research and operation work.

   
   
Professor Liang Jijiang is former Vice President of Management School of the Minzu University. Liang received his Ph.D. in management from the Wuhan University of Technology, did his post-doctorate research in applied economics at Finance Division of Ministry of Finance. Professor Liang has the senior securities and investment management certificate, has been the Vice General Manager of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Gansu Branch; also has managed a business department in Huaxia and Sanxia Securities Companies. His work mainly includes business department management, Investment Banking (including asset restructuring, mergers and acquisitions of companies), asset entrusted and financial product design. As a senior expert in capital operation, Professor Liang also serves as an Independent Director at many listed companies.

   
   
Professor Zhou Li received her Ph.D. in management from Xi’an Jiaotong University. She now serves as a professor of the Management School of Minzu University. She has been Director of the Marketing Department of the Management School, and has awarded the 1st Top Ten Teachers of Minzu University and the Outstanding Teacher of Beijing. She has long devoted to the teaching and researching work of international finance and modern business management, and is a senior expert in international finance and corporate investment & financing management.

   
   
Professor Hu Xuan’neng is Director of the Financial Department at the Minzu University in Beijing. In addition to teaching classes, he supervises of graduate students. Hu received his Ph.D. from the Investment Economic Research Institute and did Post-doctorate research at Institute of Quantitative Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Assessor, Real Estate Appraiser, and Tax Agent, as well as securities practitioner. For many years, Hu has been studying program design, value assessment and accounting in corporate mergers and acquisitions. He is familiar with China Accounting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and U.S. Financial Accounting Standards (FAS). Hu is particularly knowledgeable about ownership restructuring, corporate mergers and acquisitions and relevant laws and regulations around such activity. He has excellent practical skills both in these areas and in tax management. He now serves on the boards of many companies.

   
   
Professor Sun Yanyi is one of the first MBA graduates from Tsinghua University. Sun had served in the Capital Iron and Steel Corporation and other state-owned companies as technical management. He also joined the research and development of industrial control system and navigation control system in Tsinghua University, and is an expert in business organization & management, and corporate culture development.

   
   
Professor Li Guihua received her Ph.D. in management from Renmin University of China. She is also a senior visiting scholar at University of Missouri, Executive Director of the Chinese Enterprise Management Research Association, and Director of China Industrial Association for the Promotion of Economic Research and Development, Senior Management Consultant at Management Advisory Committee of the China Enterprise Confederation, and graduates supervisor at Inner Mongolia Finance and Economics College. She mainly focuses on the teaching, researching and consulting work on human resources management and business management, and has done human resources management consulting for the Yili, Mengniu and Yihua Group and many other enterprises.

   
   
Professor Xie Zuomiao received his bachelor’s and master’s degree from the Renmin University of China, Ph.D. in management from both Tsinghua University, also Ph.D. in law from Minzu University of China. Xie is a senior visiting scholar at the Harvard University, and an expert in corporate marketing, small and medium-sized enterprise entrepreneurial management and human resources management. He has undertaken many fund programs such as National Social Science Fund and National Natural Science Fund; he often goes abroad for investigation and participating in international conferences. Xie also serves on the boards of Shanghai Mercury Holding Group and British Duoduoai Textile Science and Technology (Nantong) Co., Ltd.

   
   
Professor Xiao Bo is Director of the Modern Education Technology Department of the Minzu University of China. He is also Deputy Director of the News Center, a member of the Digital Campus Management Committee, and part-time professor and supervises graduate students’ theses at the Management School, China University of Science and Technology. Xiao is an expert in modern information management.

   
   
Zhang Yanli is a researcher, and Director of the Financial Department, Minzu University of China. As a Chartered Accountant in China, Zhang was selected as the reserve talent of accountants in China in 2008. She has fifteen years of experience in university financial management, and is an expert in financial management of Non-profit organizations.
